Which languages are supported?

34 fully hand-curated languages are pre-installed — both for the frontend consent dialog and (as of plugin version 1.12.0) for the complete admin UI: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Croatian, Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Greek, Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Maltese, Irish, Danish, Finnish, Swedish, Portuguese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu.

How does automatic detection work?

Consenta detects the visitor's browser language and matches it with the activated languages. Alternatively, the WordPress locale or WPML/Polylang language is used.

Does this work with WPML?

Yes. Consenta detects WPML automatically and synchronizes the consent language with the current WPML language. No additional configuration needed.

Can I add custom translations?

Yes. You can customize all texts per language individually or add completely custom translations for unsupported languages.
